Asaalam Aliakum,

I had heard about the benefits of Kalonji and the reference about it in various Quranic Verses from elders. Based on which I did some research and tried to gather information about it.

Most common people use Kalonji by grinding the seeds and using the powder while others use the Kalonji Oil. Homeopatheic Doctors(Hakims), on the other hand, use it as an ingriedent in making various medicines(Hakimi Nuska).

Although, I am not aware of any Hakimi Nuska for stomach ulcer or cancer right now, I will try to find it and post it over this section in a few days, Inshallah.

thank you for respone to my msg, any how i'll use kalonji and ALLAH ne chahe tho shifa zaroor milage.. waise bhi sab se bade HAKIM tho wahi hai....

Garlic is the oldest known medicinal plant variety or spice in existence. Mankind recognizes the curative qualities of this magic herb for more than over 3000 years. Sir Louis Pasteur, the discoverer of penicillin effectively utilized the anti-bacterial qualities of garlic way back in 1858. The World War medical surgeons used the health benefits of garlic juice as an anti-septic for treating war wounds. Garlic contains useful minerals such as phosphorous, calcium and iron. The trace minerals such as iodine, sulfur and chlorine are also present in the cloves in addition to the compounds such as allicin, allisatin1 and 2.Garlic is a great health herb. It has the vital chemical compound allicin that is the wonder therapeutic ingredient for its medicinal qualities. The allicin compound contains sulfur, which gives the garlic its pungent flavor and peculiar smell. The health benefits of garlic are innumerable. It helps fight heart ailments, fight cold, cough, lowering the blood pressure level.

It is famous world wide as the best cure for all sorts of heart ailments. Taking 2-3 cloves of raw garlic in the morning goes a long way in naturally curing angina over a period of time.

Benefits: Some of the health benefits of garlic are as follows:
Diabetes: Diabetes could harm the kidneys, nervous system functions, cause heart disorders and even lead to poor eyesight. The oil extracted from garlic may aid diabetic patients from effects of these deseases

High cholesterol levels: Of the two kinds of cholesterol –LDL and HDL, the former is bad for human health. Garlic, rich in allicin compound effectively prevents LDL cholesterol from oxidization. People having high cholesterol level may include garlic in their daily diet.

Hypertension: Garlic is a herbal medicine for curing hypertension. When exposed to high levels of pressure, allicin present in garlic relaxes the blood vessels. Garlic also fights against thrombosis by reducing the platelet aggregation.

Digestion: Daily inclusion of garlic in diet aids in eliminating any digestive problems. Garlic assists in normal functioning of the intestines for good digestion. Swelling or irritation of the gastric canal is cured with garlic treatment.

Eye care: Garlic is rich in nutrients like Selenium, Quercetin and Vitamin C that helps treat eye infections and swellings.

Earache: It is used for curing ear ache, as it has several antiviral, antifungal and antibiotic properties. Garlic oil can be made at home itself, by squeezing the juice of garlic cloves and adding it to olive oil. The mixture should be kept at room temperature for a few days.

Intestinal problems: It clears most of the intestinal problems like dysentery, diarrhea and colitis. Its role in dispelling worms is phenomenal. It does not affect the functioning of useful organisms in the intestine, which aid in digestion & destroys the harmful bacteria present in intestine.

Infected wounds: Garlic can be placed on infected wounds for the herbal treatment. It should be mixed with three drops of water, rather than using it in raw form, as the direct juice can irritate the skin.

Acne: Most of the people in the world suffer from mild to sever forms of acne. Garlic may be used along with other ingredients like honey, cream and turmeric to treat acne scars and even prevent acne growth. Garlic acts as a cleanser and antibiotic for soothing skin rashes.

Asthma: Boiled cloves of garlic do wonders for asthma treatment. Each night before going to sleep, a glassful of milk with 3 boiled cloves of garlic can bring great relief to the.patients. The asthma attacks may be brought under control by having crushed garlic cloves with malt vinegar.

Cancer: Regular intake of garlic reduces the risk of colon, stomach and esophageal cancer. It aids in reducing the production of carcinogenic compounds. It also reduces the occurrence of tumor ..

Other health benefits of garlic are as follows:
The health benefits of garlic were realized centuries ago by mankind. Garlic is very effective when eaten raw-(crushed or chopped). Just one clove per day may bring great improvement in over all health. 2 to 3 cloves could prevent an attack of common cold. Garlic used in cooking should be added last for more benefit. But, taking too much garlic is not advisible as it may cause irritation in the digestive system. Garlic should be added as a part of healthy normal diet

Ginger is one of the most ancient spices in the worldwide cuisine. It has become well-known for its various health benefits including: its ability to boost bone health, aide digestion, and nausea, and flu.

The botanical name of ginger is Zingiber Officinale.It is inaccurately referred to as “ginger root”, although the edible section sold in the markets and used in dishes, is actually the stem or the rhizome. In Western culture, it is mostly used in sweets and alcoholic beverages such as: ginger beer and ginger wine. While in Asian cultures, it is directly used by chopping it up or using its powder in traditional dishes and in soft drinks such as coffee and tea. Ginger’s irresistible fragrance is due to an essential oil in its composition, coveted and extracted by perfumers since ancient times.

Not only is ginger known as an essence and spice, it is known to be one of the oldest remedies known to the herbal and aromatic traditions, especially in China, India, and the Middle East. In China, it has been used for over 2000 years for curing inflammation and diarrhea. Ginger is a perennial plant grows bright red flowers that come in different shapes such as: torch and honeycomb, and are often used in seasonal festivals in the South Pacific for decoration of stalls, houses, and even dresses.

Ginger is on the FDA’s list of generally safe foods and is used to mask the taste of bitter medicines such as cough syrups.
The various health benefits of ginger are as follows:
Bone Health: Ginger is known to boost bone health and relieve joint pains. Two years ago, a study was conducted by the University of Miami, recruiting several hundred patients — from different backgrounds and ages — with osteoarthritis symptoms. The patients were then weaned away from anti-inflammatory and analgesic medications for cleansing purposes. The week after, they were split into two groups, one put on a placebo, and the other on ginger. After six weeks of intensive dosage, a survey was conducted among the two groups, both groups felt improvement, however; 63% of the ginger group felt a notable pain reduction, while only half of the placebo group recorded notable improvement. The last test was for the patients to walk the distance of 50 feet, the results of the ginger group showed twice as much improvement than those on placebos.
Diarrhea: Ginger has been used since ancient times to cure diarrhea, and it was found by scientists that ginger indeed helps since it prevents stomach spasms and gases that contribute to and accentuate diarrhea.
Digestion: Ginger has been discovered to be a facilitator to the digestion process. The elevated sugar levels after a meal may cause the stomach to lose its natural pace of emptying its contents. Ginger helps in regulating high sugar levels that may disrupt digestion and soothe the stomach, thus, maintaining its regular rhythm.
Nausea: Studies have concluded that ginger helps in curing nausea connected with pregnancy, motion sickness and chemotherapy. Its quick absorption and rapid regulation of body functions cures nausea without the side effects of medication.
Flu: Ginger has been prescribed to fight inflammation for ages now. Its soothing effect, helps reducing the body’s alarm to the damaged cells in the body. While the white cells work on patching the cells, ginger acts a barrier to the high levels of prostaglandin that induce fever, headaches, and cramps.

Ginger may, at times, have side effects for those suffering from gallstones since the herb incites the release of bile from the gallbladder.

Fiber is an indigestible matter of plants. It is a form of carbohydrate that cannot be broken into nutrients. It passes through human digestive tract without any changes. Fibrous substances slow down the eating process, and prevent one from over indulgence in food. Fiber is one of the most nutritional ingredients for human diet.
Health benefits of fiber are mainly associated with human digestive tract. Fiber plays a very important role in human digestion process. It makes the food bulkier and further aids in glucose absorption so that sugar enters the blood cells at a slow and even pace, maintaining normal blood sugar level. Fiber produces vital organic acids that nurture the lining of colon.Health benefits of fiber include heart problems, constipation, cancer, diabetes, obesity and toxins.
Deficiency Symptoms: Deficiency of fiber is a major cause of obesity. It also increases the risk of diabetes and heart strokes. Whole grains and cereals are known to reduce the risk of major heart problems by almost 30 to 40%. Including fibrous substances in diet intake prevents host of chronic illnesses from affecting the body.
Important Sources: There are two kinds of fiber:

Insoluble fiber: fiber that is made of plant cells is indissoluble in water and can be used as a laxative.
Soluble fiber:fiber that is made of carbohydrates is soluble in water and helps cholesterol and blood sugar level in human body.
Foods like whole grains, bread, beans, fruits, green vegetables, lentils, cereals,okra (bhendi) satte isaphghol, and nuts are rich in fiber.
Benefits: Fiber is a plant produce. It is not found in animals. Fibrous substances are vital for human body and digestive tract. It also aids in prevention of many illnesses.
Some of the health benefits of fiber are as follows:
Indigestion and Constipation: The most important use of fiber is in digesting food. Fibrous substances add considerable bulk to the stools. The stools become soft, thus making it easier to pass through the intestine. Eating fiber rich foods can cure constipation.
Heart Ailments: Foods that contain soluble fiber like barley, beans, lentils, etc have good effect on cholesterol level and normal functioning of the heart. Citrus fruits have similar effect on human body system.
Cancer: Medical experts suggest that fibrous food helps in protection against colon cancer, and ovarian cancer.
Diabetes: Normalized blood sugar level is mandatory for reducing the risk of diabetes. Diabetic people have found subsequent reduction in their glucose levels through intake of fiber rich foods.
Obesity: High fiber foods are more bulky than other food items. Taken under dietary expert guidance, fiber foods give the feeling of a full stomach and curb the urge to eat more. thus helping in weight loss.
Toxins: Fiber speeds up the passing of food through the intestinal tract, thus preventing constipation or diverticulosis disorders. Toxic waste materials are also easily bundled out of the system through soft and easy stools.
Women usually need 25 to 30 gm of fiber intake on daily basis, whereas men generally need 30 to 40 gm of fiber intake every day.
